    Dear Gini Grey,
I came across your blog “The Love bug” and I was really touched and influenced by the articles you posted. Articles such as “When a Friend is Distant ~ How to Rekindle the Friendship” were very effective on a personal level, and I took away a lot from those self-help (or I should say, self-love) posts. You’re doing fantastic work!

Based on your work and your audience, I wanted to alert you about our upcoming feature documentary, My Nose: The Bigger Version. In this film, we follow Emmy award-winning filmmaker Gayle Kirschenbaum as she courageously takes us into her personal life. This intimate and sometimes humorous movie shows the transformation of her relationship with her mother from Mommie Dearest to Dear Mom.

Her award-winning short film, My Nose, about Gayle’s mother’s quest to get her to have a nose job not only introduced her to her critical mother but launched her into being a motivational speaker. Kirschenbaum developed “The Seven Healing Tools” teaching people how to deal with critical parents and people in their life. She lectures and and writes on this topic (gaylekirschenbaum.com). As a fellow giver of help and love, I think you and Gayle have a lot to talk about when it comes to self love, and the nature of familial relationships!

As we approach post-production, the support from your readers and contacts could not have come at a more crucial time. Through Kickstarter (kickstarter.com) we have set a goal and offer rewards ranging from an exclusive meet and greet with Gayle, personally signed copies of the DVD to producing credits and more–all for fans who contribute! The rewards are not granted unless the set goal is met, an incentive to encourage fans to donate! It is a unique fundraising tactic to engage your readers in supporting a project they want to see come to life as much as we do!

You can learn more about the film, view trailers and meet Gayle’s mom at the website,mynosethebiggerversion.com and follow us on Twitter, MyNoseBV!

How can we come together to promote the campaign and encourage your readers to become involved? Our sincerest gratitude for any help you can provide! Please feel free to contact me directly. I am a lead organizer of the campaign.
    Thank you,
    Daniel Park

    Hello Daniel,

Sounds like a touching and helpful film. Interesting about the nose-job angle as I too dealt with that issue (but fortunately my Mom wasn’t that critical about it – although when I complained about it she would say, “You have a Roman nose – it Romes all over your face.”).

I’ll checkout the website and perhaps it will inspire an article for me to write on the topic and mention the film and website.

    All the best with it,

    Gini

    Hi Gini,

Thank you so much! Your help and support is greatly appreciated. And from your picture on the site I think you have a very lovely nose, haha. We’ll keep in touch when we make more headway with the film!

    Wishing you the best,
    Daniel
